Audio Drop is built so there is almost nothing to know about you. This is not a promise on top of the product — it is how the product is made.

What we cannot see

Your recording is encrypted on your device before it ever leaves it. The key lives only inside the link/QR you share, in the part that is never sent to our servers. We cannot listen to your messages. No one operating Audio Drop can.

What we store, and for how long

• The encrypted message — unreadable to us. It is deleted the moment it is heard once, and in any case after its short lifetime expires. We keep no copy and no backup of it.
• No account. No name, email, phone, or password — we never ask.
• Anti-spam only: to stop flooding, we briefly hold a one-way hashed form of your IP address and an anonymous app instance id, for up to 24 hours, in memory. They are not linked to message content and are not used to identify you.

No tracking

No advertising, no analytics that profile you, no third-party trackers, no selling of data. There is nothing to sell.

We keep only aggregate counts — how many messages were sent and heard per day, and an approximate number of active devices (computed so that no device can be identified or listed). These numbers describe usage, never a person.

What we cannot protect against

Once your person hears the voice, they could record it with another device. Audio Drop guarantees that the system does not keep your message — it cannot guarantee what the listener chooses to do in the room they are in.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal profile and messages self-destruct, there is generally nothing to export or erase. For lawful requests or abuse reports tied to a specific link, contact balcoreservice@gmail.com.

Children

Audio Drop is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country).
